Behind the scenes.... or how we worked together to understand F.I.R.E. and A.C.E. better....and what do they mean to us. We also linked our school vision and values to our Class Treaty.

Our Class Treaty

Students have been working very thoughtfully to generate valuable ideas about how they want to live and learn in Room 5. After a number of very interesting and meaningful discussions in small groups, we put our ideas and expectations together, and everyone of us agreed to the Treaty.

It is a living document, just like the Treaty of Waitangi!

In Room 5, all students know what to expect. They also enjoy their learning better because they feel comfortable and confident in their learning environment.😃

Welcome back everyone and Happy New Year to you all. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and that the children are all excited about coming back to school.
